Job Profile

As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you have a strong impact on MAG45's customer satisfaction level, the contribution to the company's commercial success, and the ability to realize future growth. You are in charge of successfully managing the relations with our key accounts and further developing these accounts.

Taking Key Account Management to the next level. Leading by example, guiding and supporting colleagues which contributes to the department and organizational direction, plans and goals. In short; enough space to be entrepreneurial and further shape the position in an international playing field.

Place in the organization
The Key Account Manager is part of Sales and reports to the Director Business Solutions. Liaises internally with Business Solutions, Procurement, Operations, Site Account – and Hub Managers.


  • Managing an existing portfolio of international business-to-business key accounts;
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with them; you are the first point of contact and/or escalation;
  • Identifying new business opportunities, focusing on the existing customer portfolio;
  • Managing and negotiating offers and contracts;
  • Bringing the right internal and external stakeholders together to ensure successful offer and customer business management;
  • A successful transfer of a new project from sales to project management;
  • Attending and representing MAG45 at events, fairs, conferences, and seminars.

Skills and Experience

  • You are a professional or consultant with a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a technical, science, business, or related discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in an international corporate environment

  • Your consultative mindset, your customer-focused, communication- and service-oriented approach, and your ability to build trust give you a natural affinity with consulting. Consulting experience is an advantage

  • You are a motivated and self-propelling person with the determination to succeed and make an impact, having the maturity and self-confidence to operate at senior and executive levels as well as shop-floor levels.

  • As a strong and compelling communicator, you easily connect to your customers and the stakeholders. Combining conceptual thinking with a hands-on mentality, you are capable of delivering sustainable results through continuous process improvement, and you are able to inspire people, mobilize teams, and guide change.

  • You are a team player, open to new ideas, and believe in a process of continuous learning in order to develop new competencies

  • You have excellent presentation and communication skills, and fluency in English

  • You are willing to travel up to 10 %. You will be based in the NL/Eindhoven

  • Endorses and understands the importance of sustainability and circularity

Remuneration package

Compensation & Benefits
Market conditions apply for this position. In addition to the base salary, the position is also subject to a bonus scheme (25%) that depends on the company - and individual result. The position includes a lease car, a good pension scheme, and interesting secondary conditions.
